VICTOR’s FAVOURITE JULY MENU Three courses with homemade focaccia for one £32
Victor’s favourites for July are new season fresh cantaloupe melon direct from the market in Milano with the classic combination of Prosciutto di Parma but finished with a little extra dried figs and some of his honeycomb for a little texture. We’re including our homemade focaccia which is perfect warmed in the oven. This can be enjoyed with the starter or the main course, as you wish. Then enjoy Scottish cod fillet wrapped in paper with Pachino tomatoes, capers, taggiasche olives, a little white wine, fresh garlic and parsley ready to be baked in the oven for 15 minutes. This is lovely and light and will make you feel like you’re eating in the Bay of Naples if you close your eyes and stand in front of the fire if the sun isn’t out! Dessert is a white chocolate mousse with new season gooseberry and elderflower jam from Contini kitchen garden.
Recommended wine: Ponte del Diavolo Sauvignon 2018 Friuli
A bit more body, a bit like Victor’s tummy at the moment. A favourite wine and will match each of these courses.
